Is anyone else out there following the controversy in Vadodara?

In sum, as I understand it, there was a private display of the works of some of the art students at Maharaja Sayajirao University mad some works of art that were found offensive by BJP/VHP leaders and some Christians. Niraj Jain, a BJP leader (can't get over his name's irony) broke into the private exhibition with a group of police, destroyed several works of art, and had two art students arrested.
